Michael Wootten is a California Central Valley-based filmmaker and photographer committed to the idea of telling engaging stories through stunning and thoughtful imagery. His work is driven by his passion for storytelling in the most creative and dynamic ways.
Michael has produced award-winning pieces. In 2025, he was the recipient of Bronze Telly Awards for General Documentary and Craft: Videography/Cinematography for work with the Sacramento Mandarins. Additionally, he worked on pieces with Fresno State that received three Silver Telly Awards and a Bronze CASE Award. In 2024, Michael was part of two more CASE award winning pieces including one that was awarded the distinction of Grand Gold.
For nearly a decade, Michael has offered video production and photography services in the throughout California, and has worked with local, national, and global clients such as Clovis Unified School District, Vanguard Music and Performing Arts, and Costco Wholesale.
